About Terrikia Jonkoski, CNm

Terrikia Jonkoski is a native of Georgia, born and raised in Augusta, GA. She has always been passionate about the medical field, but her journey has been anything but conventional. She began her college career at Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia, where she majored in Psychology. However, feeling called to serve, she joined the United States Army, where she dedicated six years to her country serving as a Combat Medic.

Terrikia has worked in all aspects of healthcare, including as a patient care representative, CNA, and office manager, so she understands what it means to care for patients from the beginning to the end of their healthcare journey. 

After leaving the Army, Terrikia continued her education, completing her undergraduate degree in Psychology before pursuing a career in Nursing. She spent six years as a Labor and Delivery Nurse before becoming a Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM). She spent several of those years working as a travel nurse, gaining diverse experience in healthcare settings across the country. 

Currently, she is furthering her education by pursuing a DNP with a focus in mental health and comprehensive women's care. She is committed to providing compassionate and holistic care while making a lasting impact in the healthcare field. A member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, Terrikia plans to continue to provide education and care to the women in and around her community for years to come
