Virginia “Ginny” Hawk, RN
Virginia Hawk, born in Buffalo, New York, developed a broad perspective living along the East Coast during her father's career with IBM. After graduating from Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing, Ginny earned her Master's degree in Midwifery from the University of Illinois at Chicago. A pioneer in Atlanta, she was the first midwife to deliver babies at Northside Hospital.
With over 40 years of dedicated experience in women's health, Ginny possesses a comprehensive understanding of the unique needs of women across all life stages, from initial gynecological care and pregnancy to menopause.
Ginny transitioned from her APRN role and now serves as an OB Triage Nurse at Providence Women's Healthcare. Outside of her professional life, Ginny cherishes time with her close-knit family, including her daughter and mother, and actively volunteers in the medical community. Notably, she delivered her only niece, who is now a colleague, as well as all of her nephews.
